A large beachfront mall on Jalan Kartika Plaza in Tuban — air-conditioned escape from the heat, midrange Indonesian and international brands, a food court, and a supermarket in the basement that is useful if you are self-catering. The seaward side opens onto its own stretch of sand with deckchairs and a small fountain plaza.
It is not a destination in itself, but it works as a rainy-afternoon backup and the supermarket is the cheapest place in Kuta proper to stock up on sunscreen, water, and Bintang.
