Komodo International Airport is the small but increasingly busy airport serving Labuan Bajo and western Flores. It is not a sight in the usual sense, but it matters because it has changed the town: what was once a long overland approach is now a direct hop from Bali or Jakarta.
The terminal is close to town, so transfers are easy. Build in extra time anyway. Flights can bunch together, the road into town is steep and busy, and baggage or check-in delays are not unusual during peak Komodo season.
