Tambakrejo Beach is a long white-sand beach south of Blitar, backed by the rugged coast that makes this part of Java feel far from the main tourist circuit. The beach is broad and often quiet, with enough space for a proper walk.
The sea is not safe for swimming, so treat it as a coastal scenery stop rather than a bathing beach. It works best as a half-day outing from Blitar.
