Rowo Jombor is a broad, shallow reservoir south of Klaten, used for irrigation but visited mostly as a relaxed evening stop. People come for the water, the sunset, simple boat rides, and meals from the warung around the edge.
Do not expect a pristine lake escape. The appeal is ordinary Central Java leisure: families, food, and a wide sky after a day of temples or spring pools.
