Puncak B29 is Lumajang's high viewpoint over the Bromo Tengger Semeru landscape. From the farming village of Argosari, the road climbs toward a ridge where the sea of sand, Mount Bromo, Mount Batok, and Semeru can line up in one cold, early-morning panorama.
This is not the standard Bromo sunrise circuit, which is the point. Access is rougher, local motorcycle transport may be more sensible than driving yourself, and cloud can ruin the view. On a clear morning it gives a grander sense of the volcanic basin than the usual quick stop at the crater rim.
