Rembang Great Mosque is an early 19th-century mosque near the centre of town, built in 1814. It is a useful stop for seeing Rembang's older religious architecture and local history in one place.
The cemetery on the west side contains graves of the dukes of Rembang, giving the mosque more context than a quick exterior glance suggests.
