Ciantir Beach is the broad, sandy surf beach most visitors use as their base in Sawarna. It is close to the village entrance and easy to reach on foot, with warungs and board rental around the beach road.
The waves are the main reason to come. Conditions vary, but the beach is popular with local surfers and bodyboarders, and it has enough space for a long walk even if you stay out of the water.
