Wonorejo Dam is a reservoir in the hills northwest of Tulungagung. It is more a scenic local outing than a headline sight, but the woods, water, and viewing spots make it a useful contrast to the hot lowlands and the coast.
It works best if you have your own transport and want a slower half-day. Travellers short on time should put the south-coast beaches and temple sites first.
