Girimanik Waterfall sits in the greener eastern hills of Wonogiri, near Setren village on the road toward Slogohimo. The visit is as much about the approach as the falls: a rural drive, a short forest walk, and cooler air on the lower slopes of Mount Lawu.
There are several falls in the area, so ask locally about trail conditions before setting out. It is a good choice when you want a nature stop rather than another museum or town walk.
