Luari Beach is the easiest beach outing from Tobelo, about twenty minutes north by local transport. The sand is pale, the water is shallow, and the best snorkelling is near the headland rather than straight off the main beach. Weekends can be busy with local groups, so come on a weekday if you want the quieter version.
