Tanggo Rajo is the simple riverfront promenade beside the Batanghari, close to Gentala Arasy. It is not grand, but it is one of the easiest places to feel Jambi as a lived-in city rather than an archaeological base.
Go in the late afternoon or evening for river air, snack stalls, grilled corn, noodles, and people watching. It makes a good low-key finish after a day at Muaro Jambi.
