Sipiso-piso Falls drops from the highland edge north of Lake Toba and is one of the most dramatic viewpoints in the area. The water plunges down a steep green wall, with the lake and surrounding Karo hills opening beyond it on clear days.
You can enjoy the view from the top or follow the steps down toward the base for a louder, wetter look at the falls. The climb back is the part to respect, especially in heat or after rain.
