A handful of traditional teahouses inside and around the Reza Bazaar serve strong black tea in glass istakans, often with a small dish of crystallised sugar and the local sweet sohan. The seating is on low cushioned platforms and the clientele is overwhelmingly male — but visitors of both sexes are welcomed politely.
A good place to pause between bazaar visits and to watch the slower rhythm of the pilgrim-bazaar life. The teahouses sometimes also serve dizi at lunchtime.
