A small Persian-style formal garden in central Mashhad, Melli Garden has a long central axis with a reflecting pool, formal flower beds, and a pair of pavilions at either end. It was created in the early 20th century as a public garden during the late Qajar period and remains one of the few formal gardens in the city centre.
Pleasant in the late afternoon. About 10 minutes' walk west of the shrine complex.
