Saffron House

A modern restaurant west of the centre serving creative variations on Khorasani cuisine — saffron-laden rice dishes, lamb slow-cooked with quince, and a small but interesting list of Persian wines and non-alcoholic drinks. The dining room is airy and the prices reasonable for the quality.

A good choice if you want a meal away from the pilgrim-restaurant rhythm of the shrine area.
