Getting There

Be'er Sheva is well connected to the rest of Israel by rail and road. The train to Tel Aviv takes just under an hour from Be'er Sheva–North station, with frequent departures throughout the day. This is the most comfortable way to arrive from the coast. Buses connect the city to Jerusalem (about 1.5 hours) and other towns in the Negev. There is no direct flight service; Ben Gurion Airport is the nearest international hub, reached by train via Tel Aviv.

The central bus station is large and efficient. Shared taxis (sherut) to Tel Aviv are a faster and often cheaper alternative to the train for groups, departing when full from near the bus station.
