Louis Promenade

A landscaped walkway along the ridge of the upper Carmel, with one of the best views in Israel: directly down across the Bahá'í Gardens to the German Colony, the port, the curve of Haifa Bay, and on a clear day the cliffs of Rosh Hanikra and the snow on Mount Hermon.

The walk takes about thirty minutes end to end, with benches at intervals. Best at late afternoon when the gardens light up at sunset.
