Israel's main collection of nautical archaeology and maritime history, just downhill from the Clandestine Immigration museum. Holdings span five thousand years of Mediterranean seafaring — Phoenician anchors, Roman bronzes, mediaeval navigation instruments, and the bow ornament from a 4th-century Athenian ship pulled out of the bay.
The galleries are well lit and the labels bilingual. Combine with the Clandestine Immigration museum next door.
