Kaga's main draw is its trio of hot spring towns — Yamashiro, Yamanaka, and Katayamazu — collectively known as the Kaga Onsen. Each has its own character and centuries of bathing tradition. Beyond the baths, the city offers Edo-period townscapes, a sandy beach on the Sea of Japan, and a handful of quiet shrines and museums that reward unhurried visitors.
