Tōgan-ji Temple

Tōgan-ji Temple is a 16th-century Buddhist temple in eastern Nagoya, best known for its large seated Buddha statue. The temple also has links to Hindu tradition, including a shrine associated with Saraswati.

It is a quieter temple stop away from the city's main sightseeing circuit, and pairs well with other eastern Nagoya sights.
