Nagi Vicarya Museum is a local fossil and archaeology museum built around Vicarya fossils excavated in the area. These spiral marine fossils are about 16 million years old and help explain the ancient environment of what is now inland Okayama.
It is a modest museum, but a useful stop in Nagi alongside the town's modern art museum and mountain sights.
