Chiba City Folk Museum occupies the reconstructed tower commonly called Chiba Castle, built in Inohana Park on the site associated with the old Inohana Castle. Inside are exhibits on local history, the Chiba clan, samurai armour, pottery, and the city's older layers.
The castle shape is a reconstruction, so come for the local-history stop and the park setting rather than an original medieval keep.
