Founded by oil magnate Idemitsu Sazo, this museum on the ninth floor of the Teigeki Building has a superb collection of East Asian art — Japanese and Chinese ceramics, calligraphy, and painting. The gallery overlooking the Imperial Palace gardens is one of the most serene museum views in Tokyo.
