Kego Koen is a compact urban park in the middle of Tenjin, Fukuoka's busiest shopping and nightlife district. It is not a grand garden, but its open space, trees, and benches make it a natural pause between department stores, underground malls, and Kego Shrine.
The park is most useful as a local orientation point. Drop in if you are already in Tenjin, especially in the evening when the surrounding streets are lively, but do not plan a cross-town journey for the park alone.
