Choshikei Monkey Park is home to a large troop of Japanese macaques in the hills of Shodoshima. The monkeys roam around the park, with feeding areas and simple shows that make it an easy family stop.
The setting is part of the reason to come. An observation deck near the park gives a broad view over the island, so the visit works best as a short wildlife stop combined with Kankakei or the island's interior roads.
