The Byakkotai Legendary Museum displays artifacts connected with the Byakkotai, the Shinsengumi, and the Boshin War. Its collection sits near Iimoriyama, where the story of the teenage Aizu fighters is still central to local memory.
It is most useful after visiting Iimoriyama or Aizu Sazaedo, when the broader civil-war context gives the exhibits more weight.
