Hasshoku Center is Hachinohe's easiest seafood immersion: a big indoor market of fishmongers, produce stalls, restaurants, and shops selling Aomori specialities. It is not just for looking. Buy seafood from the counters, then take it to the grill area and cook it yourself.
The centre is away from the main station, but buses make it simple enough. Go hungry and take your time; the pleasure is in wandering before you choose.
