Ne Castle is a reconstructed medieval estate built on the excavated remains of a 14th-century castle founded by Nanbu Moroyuki. The site shows halls, workshops, and defensive spaces based on archaeological research, giving a clear picture of how a northern Japanese lord's residence worked.
It is one of Hachinohe's strongest history stops and pairs well with the city's museums and coastal sights.
