Jamyshevskie Vorota

Jamyshevskie Vorota is the surviving gate of a seven-chamber fortress built in Semey in 1718 on the orders of Peter the Great. The fragment is small, but it is one of the clearest physical reminders of the city's early Russian frontier history.
