Norus offers a small but genuine ski run in winter and easy mountain access in summer. The surroundings — the Ysyk-Ata valley running up into the Kyrgyz Ala-Too — are the real attraction, and most visitors combine a visit here with a stop at the thermal resort a few kilometres up the road.
