Organic Farm Restaurant

Vegetables grown on site, simple cooking, and a quiet garden setting away from the main street

The Organic Farm sits a short walk from the town centre and grows most of what it serves in its garden — a novelty in Vang Vieng, where most restaurants rely on the market. The menu is weighted towards vegetables and salads, with a few meat dishes using locally sourced protein. Everything is cooked simply and the ingredients are genuinely fresh.

The garden setting makes it one of the more pleasant places to eat lunch in town. Shade trees, a herb garden, and no road noise. Prices are slightly higher than street-level Lao restaurants but still modest by any international measure. It also runs occasional cooking classes where you can learn to make a few Lao standards.
