Badaro

Badaro is a quieter alternative to Gemmayzeh and Mar Mikhael, a tree-lined neighbourhood south of the National Museum that has steadily turned into one of Beirut's better restaurant and bar streets. The main drag, Badaro Street, is leafy, walkable, and full of small bistros, gastropubs, and bakeries.

The neighbourhood backs onto the Pine Forest (Horsh Beirut) and has the feel of an older, more settled Beirut. Come for dinner and an evening walk rather than late-night clubbing.
