Blue Note Café

Blue Note has been Beirut's jazz address since the 1990s. Tucked into a side street near AUB, it is a small, low-lit room with a stage at the back and local quintets playing standards and original Arabic-jazz fusion most nights.

The crowd skews older, the drinks are reasonably priced, and the music is the point. No cover charge most nights; arrive by 9.30 PM if you want a table. Closed Sundays.
