Sultan Iskandar Sea Park is the waterfront space near Mersing Jetty, where travellers, locals and ferry traffic all cross paths. It is a simple place for a stroll rather than a destination in itself, but it helps connect the town to the river mouth and harbour.
Come around sunset if you are staying overnight. The view is not dramatic, but fishing boats, ferries and the low coast make a pleasant pause before dinner.
