The cafe scene is one of the most active in Malaysia, with a steady churn of new third-wave coffee shops opening in old shophouses across the SS sections, Damansara, and Bangsar Park. The bar scene is quieter than KL — most serious drinking happens around Bangsar South or in the bigger malls — but a few good places hold their own.
