This excursion north of Mrauk-U combines the old Dhanywaddy area with Salagiri Hill, a viewpoint over the Kaladan River and the bridge near Kyauktaw. The hill is the main reason to go, especially if you want a wider view of the river landscape beyond the temple core of Mrauk-U.
