Letse Kan Gate and Let Se Lake sit on the edge of Mrauk U's old defensive and water-management landscape. The gate is modest beside the great temples, but together with the lake it shows how the former capital was organized through walls, approaches, reservoirs, and sightlines.
The spot is especially good near sunset, when the low light catches the water and the surrounding earthworks. It is a useful secondary stop after the major temple circuit, adding context rather than spectacle.
