Lipit Beach sits away from Baler's busier Sabang strip and has a rougher, more local feel. The coast here is part of the same Aurora surfing landscape, but the mood is quieter: sand, palms, fishing life, and waves without the full resort scene.
It is best for travelers with their own transport or a local guide, and conditions vary with season and swell. Come for a change of pace from Sabang, not for polished facilities. If you want the classic Baler surf-school setup, stay closer to town; if you want space, Lipit is more interesting.
