Tricycles are the main local transport within Cavite City and neighbouring towns. Jeepneys connect the major provincial towns. Having a car is helpful for covering the province's spread — Kawit (Aguinaldo Shrine), Bacoor, Imus, and Tagaytay are spread out and not easily done by public transport without multiple connections. Taxis and ride-sharing apps (Grab) are available and work reliably from Manila down to Tagaytay.
Tagaytay's main attraction area along the ridge is walkable once you're there; restaurants and viewpoints cluster along one main road.
