Los Baños has a solid eating scene fueled by the University of the Philippines campus nearby. Most of the action is along Lopez Avenue and the streets around the UP Los Baños gate.
LB Square on Lopez Avenue is the place to go after work for dinner and a few rounds of drinks. The Square offers a spread of Filipino and Asian food — Japanese, Thai, inasal, sisig — and an adjacent spot serves pasta, sandwiches, and grilled pizza. It gets busy from 6pm onwards, with live bands on Thursday nights.
Bonito's, just a few meters from the UP Los Baños gate, started as a hole in the wall and has grown into a proper restaurant with tiled tables, printed placemats, a small pond, and plenty of greenery under a tent. The freshly made pasta is the draw — a rarity in this part of Laguna. It fills up at lunch during school days and turns into a relaxed evening spot after dark, with cold beer, wine, and good company.
