Bantay Abot Cave is more a sea-carved hole through a coastal knoll than a deep cave, but it is a good quick stop on the eastern side of Pagudpud. Waves, wind, and seismic pressure opened the rock, leaving a natural window toward the sea.
It pairs naturally with nearby Timmangtang Rock and the Blue Lagoon road. The visit is short, but the coastline here has the rugged shape that makes Pagudpud more than just another beach town.
