Kabigan Falls is Pagudpud's best inland break from the beaches. The walk from the road passes fields and forest before reaching a tall, narrow fall dropping into a small pool.
Go early if you want quiet, and wear shoes that can handle mud after rain. The waterfall is not remote wilderness, but it adds real variety to a north-coast day of sand and viewpoints.
