Saud Beach is the beach most people mean when they talk about Pagudpud. It is a broad, pale curve on Bangui Bay, with coconut palms, calm-looking water in good weather, and the windmills of Bangui visible down the coast.
It is not untouched, but it is easy to like. Come early or late in the day for softer light and fewer day-trippers, and use it as the relaxed half of a Pagudpud visit before heading east to the cliffs and falls.
