Nightlife on Palawan is concentrated in El Nido and, to a lesser extent, Coron. El Nido's beach-bar culture has matured into something resembling a small Mediterranean resort — sunset spots at Las Cabanas, beach-bar drinking on the town beach, a couple of late-night DJ bars and one or two surprisingly good cocktail places.
Puerto Princesa is quieter — a handful of mid-range bars along Rizal Avenue, a few craft-beer spots that have come and gone, and the cafés around the cathedral. Port Barton has at most a handful of laid-back beach bars and goes to sleep around 11 p.m.
