Parañaque is home to Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), the main international gateway to the Philippines. All four NAIA terminals are within Parañaque or its boundary with Pasay City. Terminal 3 handles most international carriers including Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific's long-haul routes; Terminal 1 is the older international terminal; Terminal 2 is exclusive to Philippine Airlines domestic; Terminal 4 handles smaller domestic carriers.
From the airport, the most practical options into the city are metered taxis (insist on the meter or use a ride-hailing app such as Grab), and airport shuttle buses to EDSA and Makati. The ride to Makati typically takes 20–45 minutes; to Intramuros or the old Manila core, allow 40–90 minutes depending on traffic.
PITX (Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange) near the Coastal Road is the main bus terminus for inter-city buses heading south: to Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, and beyond. It is modern, clean, and air-conditioned — a welcome change from the old streetside bus stops.
The PNR (Philippine National Railway) South Main Line passes through Parañaque with stations at Bicutan and Sucat. Service is infrequent but cheap; trains run south to Calamba in Laguna. The LRT-1 (Light Rail Transit Line 1) does not reach Parañaque itself, though its southern terminus at Baclaran station is just across the city border in Pasay and is the most useful rail connection for onward travel into Manila.
