Museo Nueva Segovia is one of Vigan's quieter heritage stops, focused on the religious art and ecclesiastical history of the old Nueva Segovia archdiocese. Its collection usually includes vestments, images, church furnishings, and documents that connect the city to the Spanish colonial church network of northern Luzon.
The museum works best after you have walked Calle Crisologo and seen the cathedral area, because it fills in the religious side of Vigan's preserved colonial landscape. It is small, but for visitors interested in material culture it adds texture beyond the usual horse-carriage and ancestral-house circuit.
