Simbaan A Bassit, the little church of Vigan, is a compact chapel beside the old Catholic cemetery north of the heritage core. It does not have the scale of the cathedral, but its weathered facade and quieter setting give it a different kind of charm.
It works best as a short detour while walking beyond Calle Crisologo. The chapel shows how Vigan's Spanish-era religious landscape extended into ordinary neighbourhoods, not just the grand civic centre.
