Al Khuwair is an abandoned fishing village on Qatar's north coast, near the Zubarah historic landscape. Its name refers to a small seawater canal, and the remains help show the coastal settlement pattern that supported pearling and fishing before modern development.
The site is most useful as part of a wider trip around Al Zubarah Fort, the archaeological area, and the northern coast.
