The waterfront promenade along Qatif's Arabian Gulf shoreline, stretching several kilometres from Saihat in the north to the village of Zour. In the evenings, especially on weekends and during cooler months, the Corniche fills with families — children on bikes and scooters, groups of men promenading, women in black abayas watching the water. It is genuinely local in character, with none of the tourist infrastructure of larger Saudi coastal cities.
The views across the bay towards Bahrain are best at dusk. Refreshment stalls and small cafes set up along the walkway, and the gardens are well-maintained. The Corniche gives a clear sense of Qatif as a living city rather than a museum piece — which it is.
