Gwaneojeong Pavilion is a small late-Joseon pavilion built beside the water near Damyang. Its appeal is quiet and local: a place to sit, look over the stream, and see the sort of scholar-pavilion landscape that appears throughout Korea's older garden culture.
It is not one of Damyang's headline sights, but it makes sense as a short stop while exploring the area's bamboo groves, gardens, and old pavilions.
